Welcome, NuBeagle and NuTortuga to Immunity Challenge 5.
In this challenge, I will post a quote said by a contestant on Survivor on the show. However, it will be all blanks, with one underscore ( _ ) per letter, with backslashes ( / ) representing a space. For instance:
_ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ .
-- _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _
Is a four word sentence. But how are you supposed to know what it says?
Every five minutes I will choose a letter of the alphabet at random (using http://www.random.org) and fill it in. Let's say I rolled a T:
T _ _ / t _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ _ .
-- _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ t
And then time passes and I get more letters. An A, an E, and an F.
T _ e / t _ _ _ e / _ a _ / _ _ _ _ e _ .
-- _ e f f / _ _ _ _ _ t
The answer is:
The tribe has spoken.
-- Jeff Probst
If you think you know the answer, post it in this thread. There is no penalty for getting it wrong. Your answer must use the same punctuation and grammar that I give out, and must include the name of the person that said it as well, which will also be in blanks. If you are wrong, I will not address your post. If you are correct, I will quote it and say it is correct.
If neither tribe correctly figure out the quote by the time I complete the quote, neither tribe gets the point.
The tribe with the most points at the end of the challenge (there are five quotes) wins immunity. If there is a tie, both tribes will go to Tribal Council.
NuTortuga: Purple Kelly, Natalie, and Shii Ann are sitting this challenge out.
NuBeagle: Coach, Grant, and Kelly, are sitting this challenge out.
The first quotation will be posted at 8:15.
